Dr. Alana Collins (preferred pronouns she/her) is a native east coaster from upstate New York who moved to Bellingham in 2006 to play professional hockey in Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2005 where she captained their D1 Ice Hockey team and also played for the U.S. Women’s National Team. She even ironically played against her colleague, Dr. Sarah Paxson! Alana graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and later pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, graduating in 2015.
Alana is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has worked as a strength and conditioning coach since 2006. She offers personal training at Green Mountain PT and specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine, including post-concussion management.
Given Alana’s history as a hockey player (from a very young age) as well as a former soccer, lacrosse, and softball player, she loves working with athletes to help them get back in the game.
She additionally enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and their four daughters and continues to coach girls hockey locally while also playing in an adult hockey league herself.

A Bellingham native, Dr. Jennifer Feagles (preferred pronouns she/her) has been a licensed physical therapist since 2007, when she graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Prior to that, she graduated from the University of Montana in 2001 with a Resource Conservation major.
She enjoys working with a diverse clientele and she treats a variety of orthopedic and movement-based conditions. Her primary specialty is pelvic floor health, including treatment of: pelvic pain, pregnancy, post-pregnancy conditions, and bladder and bowel disorders. She even started PeaceHealth’s Women’s Health Program in 2011. Interestingly, Jenn also worked at a famous Emergency Vet hospital in Denver, CO to provide animal PT.
She loves working with active older clients as well as individuals who have undergone post-operative joint replacements. Jennifer has completed her Level 1 and Level 2 SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) certifications.
She has a varied athletic background of gymnastics, tennis, skiing, biking, hiking, and dance. She currently enjoys family time, hiking with her dog, dancing, and yoga.

Dr. Sarah Paxson (preferred pronouns she/her) is a native East Coaster from Vermont. She graduated from Princeton University in 2006 where she played D1 Ice Hockey, was on the ECAC All-Academic Team for four years, and even coincidentally played against her colleague, Dr. Alana Collins. Sarah then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2013 and her Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2016.
Sarah specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine and enjoys helping people recover from injuries to facilitate their return to what is meaningful for them - whether that is sleeping comfortably without pain, hiking in the mountains, or being able to play with their kids. She enjoys bringing her background as a personal trainer and registered yoga teacher into her practice. Sarah has worked with a myriad of professional and elite-level athletes and has earned her bronze-level bike-fitting certification through BikePT. Recently, she completed her Menopause 2.0 certification.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys mountain biking, skiing, playing ice hockey, running, and trying to keep up with her young boys and husband. Given her background as an elite level athlete, she has endured many injuries, and has gleaned a greater empathy and appreciation for the recovery process.
